U13s & 16s progress to Youth Plate Semi-Finals

July 30, 2010
Both youth teams are to play in Youth Plate Semi-Finals matches on Saturday 24 July. The Under 13s earned their spot by pulling off an amazing victory over Kingborough Lions Blue in an exciting game that went to a penalty shoot-out.  In the semis they will take on either Uni gold, Clarence United or Brighton at a place and time yet to be annonuced.

Senior games at Kettering Oval

July 30, 2010

Woodbridge Oval will be spared some wear and tear by moving senior games to Kettering Oval from this Sunday, the 13th June 2010. 

The women's team will play the inaugural game at the new the pitch, taking on University at 12:30 pm, followed by the WSC men's game against Metro at 2:30 pm.

Men's team hits the top of Div 4 ladder

A resounding 8 - 1 win against Barnstoneworth United on Sunday (18 April) has put the WSC men's team on top of the division 4 ladder for the first time ever.  Hooray!!

Match Reporters wanted!

To enhance our newsletter and to make our new website interesting it would be great to have a match reporter for each team.

Alio has set up a trial Blog for the under 16 team for this purpose, you can see it embedded in the Under 16 page. If other teams want to create their own match report Blogs, they too can be embedded on the appropriate team's page.

Assistance can be given with the initial setting up of any blogs if required.
