Senior training starts at 6pm Wed 2nd Feb

The new season is almost upon us and training for the Senior Men’s and Women’s teams will begin on Wednesday, 2nd February, from 6pm at the Oval. All are welcome.


Details of Junior/Youth registration and training will be available shortly.


Meanwhile, anyone who would like to be involved in some way for the 2011 season—as a player, manager, coach, canteen helper, spectator—should contact John Owen on 6267 4761 or email john.owen52@bigpond.com.

Social Game on Sunday 23 January

Official Summer Cup training is set to start on Wednesday 26th January.   As a precursor to the training, a social game has been organised for 3pm on Sunday 23rd January at Woodbridge School Oval.  Interested players, aged 15 and over are invited to to come along for a social kick and informal game.

Want to play in the 2011 Summer Cup?

2011 Summer Cup 19 February - 12 March

Team nominations for the Summer Cup, which runs from 19 February to around 12 March, are due this weekend (Sun 23 Jan). 

WSC is hoping to field both a men's and  a women's team, so it's important that anyone interested (players aged 15 and over)  contact Dalles as soon as possible, so that the club knows how many teams to nominate for the competition.

2011 season dates

Junior games start on Saturday 9 April 2011.

Youth competition kicks off on Saturday 2 April 2011.

This means that the 2011 player registration day will take place sometime in mid February to ensure that teams are nominated prior to the early March registration deadline.  WSC will be aiming to field junior teams for 5 – 11 year olds and youth teams for 12 – 18 year olds.

FFT Senior Futsal (Summer)

Football Fed Tas has just released the details for it's senior summer futsal competition:


Details of the upcoming competitions are as follows:

 
COMMENCING: Sunday 10th October (SUNDAY NIGHTS)
ROSTER – MATCHES:     10 + Finals
FINALS: 1SEMI FINALS & FINAL 20th December
TEAM NOMINATION FEE:    $70.00 per team
COST PER MATCH: $40.00 per team
GAME LENGTH: 2 X 20 minutes halves
