Spectator code of conduct

*Excerpt from Central Region Junior Soccer Association Policy Document 2008

1.    Remember that children participate in organised sports programs for their own fun and enjoyment.  They are not there to entertain you, nor are their performance standards performance standards that of prospective Olympians.
2.    At all times observe common courtesy.  Do not use profane language or harass players, coaches or officials.
3.    Applaud skilful play on the field from either team.
4.    Show respect for the opposing team.  Without them there would be no game.
5.    Never ridicule or scold a player for making a mistake during a match.
6.    Condemn the use of violence in any form by others.
7.    Respect the officials' decisions.
8.    Encourage players always to play according to the rules.
